Steeped in legend and history, the Gurkha Cigar created more than a century ago, was reborn in 1989. The company has continuously rolled out meticulously handcrafted cigars, epitomizing all that is luxury.
Today, Gurkha makes a cigar for all price points and all palates, but when it began, Gurkha cigars were unlike other cigars in the market. They also came in highly ornate packaging and with a steep price tag. Hansotia felt that there was a market for more luxurious and exclusive cigars for those with tastes for only the finer and more elusive products. In focusing on this segment, Hansotia created the ultra premium cigar category.
GRAND RESERVA
Gurkha Grand Reserve Robusto Cigars are a delightful combination of two luxurious experiences infused to bring out the best of both worlds. Gurkha has long been the champion of lavish, expertly infused smokes, and the Grand Reserve is their crown jewel.
The Grand Reserve is built from decadent Dominican tobacco from the Cibao Valley and rolled into a Connecticut shade wrapper that’s been shade grown to preserve its natural flavour. During its aging process, the tobaccos are stored in oak casks to carefully infuse the leaves with the taste of Cognac.
